جمله‌واره‌های موصولی کوتاه شده Reduced Adverbial Clauses در آزمون آیلتس به‌عنوان یکی از راه‌های بهبود نمره در بخش نوشتاری Writing و بخش گفتاری Speaking مورداستفاده قرار می‌گیرند.
این جمله‌واره‌ها برای کاهش تکرار استفاده می‌شوند و به‌جای استفاده از اتصالات conjunctions، از یک فعل به شکل مصدر infinitive یا یک فعل به شکل گذشتهٔ ساده Past Simple استفاده می‌کنند.
برای ساخت جمله‌واره‌های موصولی کوتاه شده، می‌توانید به شکل زیر عمل کنید:
۱. جمله‌واره‌ای که می‌خواهید به‌صورت مخفف آن را بنویسید را پیدا کنید.
۲. فعل اصلی این جمله‌واره را به شکل مصدر infinitive یا گذشتهٔ ساده Past Simple تغییر دهید.
۳. حذف اتصال conjunction در ابتدای جمله‌واره.
