ضربالمثل در آزمون آیلتس
باید توجه داشت که استفاده از ضربالمثلها در آزمون آیلتس باید با احتیاط و در جاهای مناسب باشد. در زیر ۴۰ ایدیم کاربردی برای آیلتس را با مثال بریتان فرآهم کرده ایم:
1. A piece of cake: چیزی بسیار آسان
• This math problem is just a piece of cake for me.
2. Hit the nail on the head: به درستی پیشبینی کردن یا تشخیص دادن/ زدی تو خال
• You guessed completely right in this regard. Actually, you hit the nail on its head.
3. Practice makes perfect: نابرده رنج گنج میسر نمی شود/ کار نیکو کردن از پر کردن است
• To learn any skill, you need to do continuous practice because practice makes perfect.

8. Bent over backwards doing sth: تمام تلاش خود را برای انجام کاری کردن

9. Break the ice: برقراری ارتباط در ابتدای یک رابطه/ شکستن یخ رابطه
